On November 28, 2017, the Roundtable on the Promotion of Health Equity will host a one-day workshop in Oakland, California, entitled Immigration as a Social Determinant of Health. This public workshop will feature invited speaker presentations and discussions that will consider the history of immigration laws and policies and how these laws and policies affect not only immigrant health, but population health more broadly.
