Erica Monasterio, RN, MN, FNP, of UCSF's School of Nursing Diversity in Action Committee (DIVA) will lead a training on the HEALS (Halt, Engage, Allow, Learn, Synthesize) curriculum.

HEALS is a structured approach to set the tone in the classroom and clinical environment, establish expectations regarding openness to the experience,opinions and concerns of others, and to introduce a structure and method for responding to emerging issues in the classroom and clinical environment.
