Free Buprenorphine Waiver Training at ZSFG

Wednesday, March 6th from 1-5pm at ZSFG in Carr Auditorium

In order to obtain an X waiver and prescribe buprenorphine providers must complete a federally mandated training course. The training, sponsored by the Department of Family and Community Medicine, is 4 hours online followed by 4 hours in person (NPs and PAs have to complete additional training for a total of 24 hours).

For this course, we will prioritize trainees, but sign up is open to all interested participants (cap 100 participants). About a month before the training participants will be given the link to the online module.
